Ouran Koukou Host Club (Ouran High School Host Club) is a manga series created by Hatori Bisco, which started its serialization in the Japanese magazine Lala in August 2003. The series is currently 51 chapters long (with 10 volumes published) and it's still on-going.
Ouran is centered around the lives of six boys and the girl who suddenly enters their lives. They all attend Ouran High School, a place made especially for young (absurdly) rich students who also tend to be sons or daughters of very important people.
In the school's north corridor, inside the third music room, is where our six boys exercise their extra-curricular activity, otherwise known as the Host Club. We enter the story through the eyes of Fujioka Haruhi, a first year scholarship student looking for a place to study quietly, but stumbling on the noisiest flashiest group of people in the entire school.
Long story short, Haruhi accidentally breaks an expensive vase and is thus made to work (posing as a boy) for the Host Club to pay her debt. And so their crazy adventures begin.
Ouran was also adapted into a 26-episode anime series produced by studio BONES, which started airing on April 5, 2006 in Japan. To know more about the series, please head to the links section of this website.
