The AFL network approved fanlisting for Suou Tamaki (Ouran Koukou Host Club) was first opened by Asperia on August 5th 2005. It was later adopted to me, Estefania, and renamed from Egoistic Complex to King at Heart on March 23rd 2007. And I can't even try to thank her enough, for Tamaki has gradually become one of my favorite manga characters ever since I first laid eyes on Ouran. I'm truly ecstatic to be able to run his fanlisting from now on~
The listing's name's origin is not that complicated, but it does have a little bit of history. I've always loved to mix my favorite fandoms up and, despite not being that directly influenced, the name is actually based on one X-Files episode, Young at Heart-- I've wanted to use it for some project of mine for the longest time. And of course, Tamaki is considered the King of the Host Club all around. Still, I don't think it's his social situation what determines this... what really makes the boy a king for me is his generosity, kindness and honest charm. King at Heart, that is.
This layout was made with a combination of images borrowed from For Richer or Poorer, online raws/scanlations and some scanned by me. Some content recycled from my Tamaki/Haruhi ship manifesto, since I thought it was a shame to let it go to waste. A list of resources (brushes, textures) can also be found here. Graphics were done with Adobe Photoshop 6.0 and coding with Notepad. Please, no stealing.
