What's a doujinshi?
As I said in the main page, a doujinshi is an especific type of manga (japanese comic) drawn by amateur artists, or at least not endorsed by any professional publishing company. These books are extremely collectible objects for lots of people, since they're not only beautiful and unique works of art, but also hard to search and obtain, making them really exciting to go after.

How much does it cost?
It varies a lot. The cheapest way of buying doujins is being Japanese and/or living in Japan, in which case you could find them for $5 at events or even less in second-hand shops (unless they're very rare, in which case the price rises). For the rest of us, poor souls, it just depends on luck and knowing where to look for them. But the usual is $10 and up + shipping costs.

How much should I pay for *insert name* doujinshi?
That's up to you, really. It depends in how rare it is, how much do you crave for it and how much money you can spend. Either way, think about it before spending big amounts of money in one. Try to find info about the circle and scans of how does the art inside looks like. You could be surprised.

Where can I buy doujinshi?
Visit the linkage section. That should help you.

Is there anything you wouldn't buy in a million years?
Shotakon and Lolita is really not my thing at all. I don't particularly enjoy hard core hentai or yaoi either... but I can absolutely handle soft core hentai with, say, Roy & Hawkeye anytime :3 As long as it's done with taste, really.

So what do you collect?
My main collecting goal right now is Roy/Hawkeye (Fullmetal Alchemist) doujinshi. Not everything of course, I have my own circles of choice pinned down by now. But anyway, it's the core of my collection and the biggest part of it, after 3 years of searching and buying them. Then goes Sasuke/Sakura (Naruto) and Luffy/Nami (One Piece). I usually give priorities to pairing, then circle... so no matter how pretty is some circle's art, if I don't support the pairing featured in a book it's likely you won't see me buying it. I'm stupidly loyal like that. It also makes the collecting a lot more exciting for me (since it's harder to find something I like).

Would you sell me *insert name* doujinshi?
None of the doujinshi displayed in this site are for sale. If they are at some point, I'll be sure to clearly mark it.

Do you trade?
Right now, none of the books featured here are up for trade either. But if I decide to sell out some doujinshi in the future, they'll also be available for trade -- that is, if you have something that interests me ;)

Why did you stop uploading covers and inside scans?
As time passes, I'm growing more and more uncomfortable with uploading big-sized scans of my doujinshi. I haven't ever shared more than three (watermarked) inside pages and I still got a warning from a circle I deeply admire (boggles my mind, when there are a hundred scanlation websites out there). Besides, I've seen some people direct-linking or using scans for stuff I expressly asked not to use them for. So yeah, I don't think I'll be uploading big scans publicly anytime soon, sorry.

And what about the summaries?
My Japanese sucks big time (i.e. it's pretty much non existant) and I felt I wasn't doing a good job with them... especially since I was making them up most of the time, haha. Also, lack of time.

How often do you update?
Whenever I can/feel like it.

Well, that's it. If you have any other (logical) question that's not addressed here, please go ahead and email me. I'll try to answer you as soon as possible. Thanks a lot.
