Welcome to PANIKKU!, a website made for displaying my growing doujinshi collection. This site will basically include my comments on them and some cover scans. My doujinshi are NOT for sale, nor this is a scanlations project. My japanese is far from allowing me to translate anything, and if anything's for sale, I'll clearly state it.
What's a doujinshi? A doujinshi is an especific type of manga (japanese comic) drawn by amateur artists, or at least not endorsed by any professional publishing company. There are lots of different genres and themes, as well as sizes, ratings and prices. Though some of them feature original characters, most focus on manga/anime series or even books/movies that already exist. A good number of them are pairing based (het, slash, canon or not) -- explicit or for all ages -- but some of them can feature non-romantic stories too.
This website is meant to serve as a guide to doujinshi buyers, because I know it's hard as hell to know what to buy and which circles to stalk go after. I've only included covers and back covers though, because my collection has grown quite big and I don't have the time to scan the inside anymore. Also because it damages the books (ugh) and I'd rather not anger doujinshi-kas.
