What is "Mugiwara Kaizoku-dan"?
It translates to Straw-hat Pirates and it's One Piece's main characters' crew. It's called that way because of Luffy's - the captain's - straw hat, which he always carries around and holds a very special meaning for the series.

Why make a fanlisting for them?
Because I love them all, both as individuals and the relationships between them. For me, they're the soul of the series and I can't imagine them ever parting ways.The sense of trust and loyalty between every one of them is something that never ceases to move me.

Why "We are Family"?
The name is actually borrowed from a song, sung by the whole seiyuu (voice actor) ensemble of the One Piece anime, Family. Despite all the difficult times they've encountered in their lives and most of them not having an actual family they can return to, Luffy's crew has find a true family in one another. They protect each other, believe in each other and love each other, their bond is even stronger than some "biological" families.

Why do/don't you include *insert name*?
As of today, the members of the Mugiwara crew are these eight people. Vivi stayed with them for a while, but had to leave them because of her royal duties. Of course, if they happen to pick up a new member for the crew, I'll be sure to reflect it in the FL.
