CELESTIAL NAVIGATION | go back

I do realize this is a weird name for a relationship fanlisting, but there's a good reason for it. Or at least there's a reason. From wikipedia:

Celestial navigation, also known as astronavigation, is a position fixing technique that was devised to help sailors cross the featureless oceans without having to rely on random chance to enable them to strike land. Celestial navigation uses angular measurements (sights) between the horizon and a common celestial object.

There's something I really like about this term. And, similar to a celestial object, Nami is the only one Luffy relies on to lead their path. Also, I think Luffy and his crew are destined to do big things, even bigger than what they've already done -- and they have even reach the skies already.

Celestial Navigation is actually also the name of a season one episode of The West Wing, the political TV show created by Aaron Sorkin. I'm a big fan of the show and that episode is just genius, so I thought it'd be perfect. Besides, I find mixing up my favorite fandoms to be totally dorky and amusing.
